22 April 2013

www.chinabuses.org : Certification report was issued by the national bus testing center, showing that the “Zhiqu” system on the 12-meter-long King Long bus helped the bus save 9.89% of oil.

“Zhiqu”, an intelligent oil-saving system that was launched in April, 2012, could make automatic judgment and optimization to the bus, resulting in a perfect match of driver, bus and road, so that oil-consuming could be remarkably reduced.

Since it was launched in 2012, “Zhiqu” was test-used in dozens of transporting companies. Its performance brought surprises to all those companies. Because the system employs new technologies, which is not familiar to customers, a number of questions were raised by the customers questioning the oil saving rate. So, King Long decided to send the product for national-level test to prove to customers.

Being an independent automobile detecting organization, the national bus testing center is a institute authorized by the AQSIQ, MoEP, MIIT, CNCA, and was responsible since 1984 for the testing, detecting, and supervising of bus, chassis and engine. Reports issued by the institute is of utmost authority and reliability.

Duan Yong, supervisor of testing at the testing center of King Long, told reporter that, the testing for “Zhiqu” was carried out according to the standards of GB/T27840-2011 and GB/T12543-2009. After several rounds of tests and cross tests, the final results show that the testing bus sees 9.89% of oil saved after “Zhiqu” system was functioned.

Starting from 2013, “Zhiqu” became a standard configuration for King Long tourist buses longer than 8.5 meters, and thus is a most important member of the independently developed “Huyi” network of King Long. Depending on the ever-growing and developing system of “Huyi”, “Zhiqu” will perform even better in oil-saving, benefiting customers.
