Two New Energy Buses Of Alfa Bus Awarded in Nanjing Bus Contest

www.chinabuses.org ：More than 30 city bus companies from across the country participated in the 13th Bus and Parts Exhibition in Nanjing and the 8th Bus Contest. Alfa Bus, brings with it the YS6120SHEV city bus and YS6121LNG LNG bus, also joined the event. Both buses were granted the highest honor in the bus industry- Golden Award and the Best Innovation in New Energy Buses Award.
The YS6120SHEV pure electric city bus is independently developed by Alfa Bus, with “dual engine” system adopted, the bus is equipped with extra engine and motor devices, which could be recharged without taking off the bus. The product aims at first-tier city markets to achieve long-operating time. When electricity of the bus is in short supply, oil will be used to generate electricity to power the bus. Bus can be recharged while running, so that it runs much longer. As it’s learned, the bus could run as long as more than 1000 KM, quintupling that of a normal electric bus. The bus is equipped with latest technology in battery, which only needs three hours to get fully charged. Around 1 degree of electricity is consumed for 1 km, saving ￥1.0 for every km it runs compared with diesel-consuming buses, which makes it a perfect choice for city passenger transportation.
The bus body is load-bearing, making the weight more than 1 ton less than normal bus, saving up to 12% of energy. “Low entrance” floor design is introduced, serving passengers with more convenience. The redesigned air suspension system prometed comfortability and steering stability; the maximum speed being 80km/h, low noise inside, no pollution, zero-emission. The bus combined many advantages of electricity buses. Start-up power supply and constant velocity power-supply ensures the bus lasts longer in battery and recycling of braking-energy
To respond to the policy of the government to build environmental-friendly cities as well as reducing the pollution of PM 2.5, Alfa Bus newly developed the YS6121LNG LNG bus. The design of bus follows the international trend while taking into consideration the needs of Chinese customers, forming stylish and beautiful exterior appearance. The key assembly of the bus employs the latest technologies in aspects such as bus body, frame, general assembly, interior trim parts and etc.
Designed according to international environmental standards, with no sulfur, particles or PM2.5 pollution caused, the bus helps protect the environment. As it’s learned, LNG bus emits 90% less of carbon monoxide than diesel buses, 70% less of hydrocarbon and 35% less of hydronitrogen. The design is in tune with the trend of environment protecting.
