Foton AUV Launches New Energy Bus Brand-“Zhilan”

www.chinabuses.org : Foton AUV held a launching ceremony for EV series of products along with the “Zhilan” brand. The BJ6123EVCA-6 bus of Zhilan brand was awarded the “Golden Award of CIBC Public Transportation Bus of 2013”. Foton AUV was also named as “Top Ten Bus Maker of CNBC, 2013”. Besides, the LNG double decker was named “Best Innovation in Energy Saving of 2013”; the school bus was named “Best School Bus of CIBC, 2013”.
Mr. Fan Xianjun, deputy president of Foton Motors, deputy executive general manager of AUV, along with other management personnel, announced the commencement of “Zhilan” brand. Also, they unveiled the pure electric bus of iBLUEBUS6123. As the leader in the new energy bus field in China, Foton committed itself to the industry 8 years ago. The launching of the “Zhilan” brand shows the great confidence and strength of Foton.
As it’s learned, “Zhilan” originates from the blue power efficiency, represents the independently-developed intelligent technologies of electric-control system, fuel battery, motor of Foton. The brand is composed of three major series of products, namely EV, HEV, PHEV, an overall arrangement in the fields of pure electric, plug-in and hybrid.
The Zhilan EV pure electric bus could automatically arrange the matching of electric and petrol. The battery system can be replaced in 5 minutes, and could be recharged within 3 hours with external power source, leading the world; Zhilan PHEV plug-in bus adopts AC asynchronous motor, sided by Foton Cummins 2.8 L China V emission engine set; Zhilan HEV intelligent hybrid bus boasts a brake-power-recycling rate of more than 48%, reducing the energy consumption by more than 30%, reducing pollution emission by more than 35%.
Technicians of Foton AUV introduced that, another technological advantage of Zhilan is that the buses adopts the technology of 4D body protecting. Mixed with advanced European designing style and manufacturing craft, the bus used the 100% cathode electrophoresis technology. Also, the high strength steel are used in all buses. All in all, the buses are durable, safe and energy-saving.
Zhilan bus will not simply meet the standards of emission, but also, by utilizing mature technologies and engine solutions, it aims to provide services and create more interests for customers.
