WIFI is Available for 1,800 City Buses in Beijing

www.chinabuses.org: City Bus Wireless Internet System built by Beijing Public Transport Company and China Mobile has been used for 1,800 city buses on line 1, 52, 57, 300 etc bus lines. 

TDFi devices are equipped in the bus to facilitate WiFi signals. Passengers can log on in the Internet with their terminal devices such as cell phone, laptop and pads, and they can connect CMCC to WiFi lines. The fees will be charged as China Mobile CMCC standards. China mobile users can also send TYWLAN to 10086 to try 20-hour free WiFi service on the buses. 

Passengers can get the information about operation time, bus stops and transfering info with their devices in the future. And there will be over 10,000 city buses with WiFi to the end of this year.
