Changchai Awarded for Technological Advancement by Municipal Authority

www.chinabuses.org; Lately, Changchai was granted the scientific and technological development awards by the municipal government of Changzhou for the “energy-saving and environmental-friendly core technology of small non-road diesel engines”. The new technology will promote the advancement of diesel engine industry of our country. In recent years, the EH and H series of single cylinder diesel engines of Changchai have received numerous awards, such as follows: accomplishing scientific and technological appraisal for three times; applied for national patent in 13 aspects, among which, 2 aspects were granted the patents; applied for invention patent for 1 time; was awarded applicable new technology for 10 items; joined in the standardization of national level for twice.
Changchai has been focusing on the developing and marketing of the new generation of “more environmental-friendly”, “ more energy-saving”, and “ more material-saving” products. On the basis of the key program of national 863 project- “ key technology and developing of single cylinder diesel engine”, they mainly study how to make the medium and small displacement diesel engine to qualify the standards of EPA emission laws of America. Also, they carried out a series of developing works and achieved a bunch of patented technologies, providing support for the development of the industry.
