Sinolube boosts emission-reducing

www.chinabuses.org : Reduction of car emission is closely related to the improvement of oil quality. But, do you realize the impact of lubricant oil on the car emission? Mr. Zhang Chunhui, head of technology development of Sinolube, said recently that by installing automobile exhaust catalytic converter, cars could qualify the emission standards. Sulphur and phosphorus that contained in the lubricant oil could on one hand reduce friction, protect engines, while, on the other hand, produce toxic action with catalyst in the converter. The key to improving lubricant quality lies with the application of additives.
Zhang Chunhui said, car engines are getting more precise and technology-intensified, so lubricant with low viscosity could satisfy the needs of engines. Besides, low viscosity leads to low oil-consumption, making cars more environmental-friendly.
Sinolube owns four R&D centers, taking advantage of space lubrication technologies, they localized a number of additive technologies, making many breakthroughs. The SM5W-40 synthetic petrol lubricant of Sinolube could meet the emission standards of China V.
With the implementation of Beijing V emission standards, many consumers are worried about driving their cars on the roads. So far, only less than 10% of domestic-branded cars are up to the standards of Beijing V. some domestic-branded car makers are expecting a tough period ahead of them. For diesel cars, the China IV standards will be in place the latter half of the year, so, SCR devices will be installed to improve the car emission, with clean-up liquor filled, so as to meet the standards.
The ‘Jialan’ purification liquid match exactly with the China IV standards, a sign of improvement in service awareness from “passitively accept the market requirement” to “positively study the trend of market”, also enables consumers to feel the advantage of the quick response mechanism and the improved service awareness.
As it’s learned, Sinolube takes up one third of market share in domestic high-end lubricant market, and has successfully entered more than 50 overseas markets including Australia, south east Asia and Africa, winning favor of many consumers, breaking the monopoly of foreign brands over the high-end lubricant market in China.
