During the ‘Two Sessions’ this year, 54 ‘Longwei’ buses of King Long will station at Beijing Hotel, ACFTU Hotel-Beijing, Xizhimen Hotel, Capital Hotel, Capital Xindadu Hotel, receiving delegations from 26 provinces(municipality, autonomous region), including Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Three northeastern provinces and Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Qinghai, Gansu, Hubei, Anhui, Henan, Guizhou, Shandong, Tianjin, Hebei, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Fujian. Mr. Chen Yingsong, service manager of north china region of King Long introduced when interviewed by journalist from www.chinabuses.com.

What makes Mr. Chen Yingsong proud is that ‘Longwei’ buses used during the ‘Two Sessions’ were actually service buses during the Beijing Olympic Games. After six years of service, they successfully finished the tasks of everyday reception, also served several important meetings with no failure occurred. Six years of time did not fade them comparing with other buses, but, showed the stability and reliability.

Of course, ‘Longwei’ got chosen as service bus after deliberation of BAIC. They know very well the responsibility they bear, so, every single bus was chosen after a series of check, no accident is allowed. Despite the fact that they have been doing the same job for 35 years, BAIC is as strict as they always are.

As I learned, before the spring festival of 2013, meetings were held in BAIC to secure transportation service of the ‘Two Sessions’, demanding all the staff involved to establish the awareness of ‘ security is political task, quality, efficiency and image’, ‘ details determine success.’, making sure no issue occurs during the meeting, and doing well the daily job of moderating, checking, preventing any vehicle faults, meeting the requirement of all delegations and organizing committee.

King Long keeps improving and Serves the ‘Two Sessions’for 13 years

King Long became a major force among service cars not only rely on the good quality, but also has a lot to do with the committed service of the service team of King Long. Will they do something differently after serving the meeting for 13 years?

‘Nothing too special, but, we will serve with more care than we did last year’, Chen Yingsong smiled, ‘we will strictly abide by the checking system of BAIC, driver check- subbranch-check, DMV-check, repair any possible vehicle failures, check engine system, transmission system, driving system, steering system, electric system. Should any failure occur, we will contact with service staff and parts supplier, and solve the issue within the shortest range of time.’

King Long adopted the service model of ‘relying on service stations, stationing specific places, tracking all buses’, carry out complete inspection and shift inspection. They appoint two service cars plus four service staff to check bus in all stations, and the repairmen will track buses all day long, fix any problems quickly. Besides, all service staff in Beijing is required to keep accessible through phones 24 hours a day, for any possible requirements to serve the meeting or fix bus problems.

For Chen Yingsong, it is an honor to serve the ‘Two Sessions’, also, it is a huge responsibility. When asked whether he is nervous or not, he replied: no, because he is confident in the quality of buses, the serving system. And he is sure they could serve the ‘Two Sessions’ successfully.

In the eyes of other people, the works of King Long is repetitive and seems nothing different with former years. But only those practical man will perfect their services year after year.
