School Bus Operation Subsidy Plan Under Way

www.chinabuses.org: On February 26th, the Ministry of Education released the 14 provinces and cities school bus program inspection results that school bus drivers are severely lacking. Besides, Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation and Insurance Regulatory Commission are working on the school bus subsidy policies.
It’s known tax before operation used to account for 8% of the school bus price, i.e. CNY 25600 of tax for a school bus worthy of CNY 0.3 million.
All the bus enterprises are expecting the increase of fiscal subsidy, however some insiders said “some key policies are not unveiled.” It’s expected that growth rate of over-five-meter school buses sales in 2013 will reach 40%, i.e. 38000 units.
