Sales of Buses to Increase 8-10% in 2013

www.chinabuses.org: 255,027 buses were sold in 2012, up 5.35%, and 219,857 five-meter above buses were sold, up 5.17%.
31 of the 50 bus builders are producing school buses in 2012, and 25,695 buses were sold, taking 11.69% of all sales of buses. School Bus Safety Management Regulation was released in 2012, together with some other like laws and regulations, which can make sure sales and development of school buses.
Yutong, Changan and Zhongtong Bus took the first three places on sales of school buses, and their market shares are over 50%, and sales of each of the three bus builders are over 2,000 units.
There is contradiction between conservative policies and rigid demand. People in China have higher and higher requirements on living standards. And school bus needs cannot be avoided.
It predicts that sales of school buses will be increase 40% in 2013, and there are 500,000 to 600,000 school buses inventory currently, and the annual renewl will be 70,000 to 80,000 units each year.
Under support of natural gas buses, China natural gas markets are getting more and more mature. 33,527 natural gas buses were sold in 2012, up 77.98%. And the shares of sales of natural gas buses took 13.15% from previous years' 7.78%.
There are six bus builders which sold more than 2,000 natural gas buses last year, and the natural gas industry concentration is 58%. 6,313 Yutong natural gas buses were sold, taking 18.83%, and the figure was 3,025 Zhongtong buses, taking 9.02%, 2,920 Chengdu buses, taking 8.71%, 2,782 Higer bus, taking 8.30%, 2,628 Hengtong bus, taking 7.84%.
