www.chinabuses.org: In China bus industry, 47,130 units and 51,122 units of complete buses & chassis were produced and sold in China in Dec. 2012, which respectively rose by 0.47 percent and 9.65 percent compared to Nov. 2012 and which respectively decreased by 1.03 percent and increased by 11.94 percent compared to Dec. 2011.

For large buses, in Dec.  9,568 units and 10,120 units of complete large buses were produced and sold in China, which respectively rose by 1.72 percent and 4.21 percent compared to Dec. 2011. In Jan. - Dec. 2012, 75,198 units and 75,174 units of complete large buses were produced and sold in China, which respectively rose by 10.17 percent and 9.91 percent compared to Jan. - Dec. 2011. In Jan. - Dec. 2012, for the overall sales volumes, the top three bus builders are Yutong Bus (23,505 units), Higer Bus (10,020 units) and King Long Bus (8,877 units).

For medium buses, in Dec., 8,555 units and 9,245 units of complete medium buses were produced and sold in China, which respectively decreased by 5.76 percent and 5.07 percent compared to Dec. 2011. In Jan. - Dec.2012, 70,032 units and 70,191 units of complete medium buses were produced and sold in China, which respectively rose by 2.15 percent and 1.54 percent compared to Jan. - Dec. 2011. In Jan. - Nov. 2012, for the overall sales volume, the top three bus builders are Yutong Bus (23,969 units), Higer Bus (8,240 units) and King Long Bus (6,787 units).

For small buses, in  Dec. , 21,631 units and 24,860 units of complete small buses were produced and sold in China, which respectively increased by 7.89 percent and 18.74 percent compared to  Dec. 2011. In Jan. -  Dec.2012, 280,558 units and 280,230 units of complete small buses were produced and sold in China, which respectively rose by 7.27 percent and 5.41 percent compared to Jan. -  Dec. 2011. In Jan. -  Dec. 2012, for the overall sales volume, the top three bus builders are Jinbei Auto (92,797 units), Jingling Motors (54,579 units) and Nanjing Auto (40,006 units).
