Hybrid City Buses to Be Promoted Nationwide

www.chinabuses.org: It's said MOST, Ministry of Finance, MIIT and NDRC decided to promote hybrid city buses nationwide and released "Notice on Expansion of Hybrid City Bus Demo Promotion". The goal is 3000-5000 units.
In December 2012, the four Ministries and Commissions checked and accepted the demo promotion of new-energy vehicles in 25 pilot cities, where there were 27.4thousand energy-saving and new-energy vehicles, including 23 thousand units in public transport field and 4400 units for private use, 174 charging stations and 8107 charging piles.
In April 2012, "The Twelfth Five-year Plan on Electric Motor Technology Development" confirmed pure-electric drive strategy, focusing on 29 missions and promoting key spare parts technologies, complete vehicle assembly technology and common platform technology.
