www.chinabuses.org: Ministry of Environmental Protection announced that from January 1st 2013, all the NG engines and vehicles produced, imported, sold and registered must meet Nation V standard.

The enterprises must submit conformity of production plan, annual report and VIN to Ministry of Environmental Protection according to the requirements.

Ministry of Environmental Protection would step up to strengthen the environmental protection supervision on auto manufacturing enterprises in the forms of periodic inspection and spot check.

Besides, environmental protection authorities of all levels must be strict with exhaust emission inspection and issuance of environmental protection mark of conformity. Any enterprise which produces, imports and sells overproof vehicles will be fined in accordance with the law.
