On Feb.17th 2012, U.S.-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was organized in Los Angeles. President of Zonda Group Xu Liankuan gave a speech on Sino-U.S. new energy vehicles cooperation prospect. The theme of the speech by President Xu is enterprise's responsibility and cooperation model between two countries in the new energy industry under the low carbon economy. In the new energy bus international cooperation, through earlier stage negotiation, both Zonda Group and American new energy bus builders reached an agreement that 5000 units of pure electric bus would be produced in the production factory which lied in capital of the state of Idaho. This project is expected to 18-24 months to finish.

By the year of 2020, the market scale of China New Energy Bus Industry will be the top of the world, and new energy bus possession will reach 500 million. Pure electri bus has become the development direction of new energy bus. President Xu Liankuan of Zonda Group said that new energy bus would become one of the seven new strategic industries, and the leading industry of the national economy.
