www.chinabuses.org: On December 11th, China Automotive News and www.chinacar.com.cn co-hosted "2012 China EV Industry Awarding Ceremony" in Shanghai, where Higer KLQ6109GCHEV1A won "Best Hybrid Bus Award".

Higer KLQ6109GCHEV1A hybrid bus is series-parallel combined one with super capacitor as energy storage element. Though hybrid as it is, the model is mainly driven by engine, which would avoid the energy loss during the multiple energy conversion. It's said this model needs natural gas only (LNG or CNG), instead of the charging devices. In the city , the model can reduce emission and save fuel. 

The person in charge of Higer Technology Center said Higer hybrid bus is able to reduce 95% of PM2.5, 88% of CO, 38.2% of NOX and 32.7% of CO2 compared with its analogue types.

As the development of auto industry, Higer has obtained the recognition of more and more customers by virtue of its good products and service. Higer hybrid city buses are used in Suzhou, Kunming, Haikou, Tianjin, Wuhan, Macau and Singapore, etc.
