Two of Dongfeng projects listed national new energy auto supported

www.chinabuses.org: On Dec. 3, Dongfeng small pure electric passenger car technology and Dongfeng new energy city bus technology were lised national new energy auto support projects, and this will definitely promote development of Dongfeng new energy auto.
Dongfeng developed the first pure electric passenger car in 1999, and they made breakthrough on hybrid technology in the 11th five-year plan period. In June 2009, Dongfeng electric auto industrial park was founded, and this is also the first like production base in China.
Currently there are 22 Dongfeng vehicles listed in the new energy auto recommendation catagery with 139 patents, leading in China auto industry.
In 2005, Dongfeng will produce more than 100,000 new energy vehicles, namely 50,000 pure electric vehicles and 50,000 hybrid auto. They have built special R&D center and invested 3 billion Yuan for this.
