www.chinabuses.org: On Nov. 22nd 2012, Wenzhou Public Transportation Group revealed that, the group will organize a bidding for 164 units of city buses to serve the local area. Among them, 110 units are oil-electricity drive hybrid buses.

It is known that the hybrid buses are driven by the convert between the diesel and the electric power. It can reduce the exhaust emission and air pollution. At the same time, it could effectively reduce the fuel consumption and the oil-saving rate could reach above 20%.

It is the first time that the Wenzhou city purchase the new energy hybrid buses in the city. It  includes 35 units of 12 meters long buses and 75 units of 10 meters long buses.
