Sales of Buses Keeps Declining in Oct. 2012

www.chinabuses.org: According to data from CAAM, sales of China buses and coaches are declining over last month and last year. 

37,300 buses were sold in Oct., down 10.20% over that of Sept., and down 0.53% over last year. And sales of large buses are increasing, and medium buses declines a little and sales of light buses saw a great decreasing. In Oct., 6,700 large buses were sold, up 6.16% over last month, and up 19.54% over last year; 6,200 medium buses were sold, down 16.81% over last month and down 11.03% over last year; and 24,400 light buses were sold, down 12.15% over last month and down 2.11% over last year. 

381,800 buses were sold from Jan. to Oct., up 2.85% over last year, and 67,600 large buses were sold, up 5.32%, and 67,300 medium buses were sold, down 0.99%, and 246,900 light buses were sold, up 3.28%. 

Sales of buses in Central China and Northeast China decrease, and sales in other areas are increasing. 45,700 buses were sold in North China, up 7.79%, 117,800 buses were sold in East China, up 5.34%, 22,600 buses wer sold in Northwest China, up 22.55%, 48,100 buses were sold in Central China, down 11.15% and 27,900 buses were sold in Northeast China, down 4.14%. 

The top ten bus builders on sales were Jinbei Shares, JMC, Yutong, NAVECO, King Long, Beiqi Foton, Higer, Ankai, Saholin and Zhongtong Bus, and their sales voluems were 8,716, 4,948, 3,321, 3,017, 2,160, 1,901, 1,716, 1,118, 1,076, 880 units. Sales of JMC and King Long increase over the previous month and others saw decreasing. 28,900 buses were sold by the ten bus builders, taking 77.48% market shares. 

And the top ten bus builders from Jan. to Oct. are Jinbei Shares, JMC, Yutong, NAVECO, King Long, Beiqi Foton, Higer, Golden Dragon, Shaolin and Zhongtong Bus.
