Production and Sales of Diesel Engines in October

www.chinabuses.org: In October 2012, production and sales of engines reached 1,376,229 and 1,378,413 sets, and from January to October, cumulative production and sales reached 14,349,962 and 14,360,965 sets, increasing by 5.36% and 3.36% respectively over last year, while growth rate decreased by 1.36% and 1.69%.
In October, production and sales of diesel engines reached 239,158 and 254,398 sets, and from January to October, cumulative production and sales reached 2,734,604 and 2,815,355 sets, decreasing by 7.23% and 10.08% year-on-year, while growth rate increased by 0.16% and 1.06%.
From the production of diesel engines in October, top ten enterprises are: Yuchai, Quanchai, FAW, Yunnei Power, Weichai, JMC, Dongfeng, Yangchai, Huayuan Laidong and Great Wall Motors, which produced 38,211 sets, 34,609 sets, 27,624 sets, 19,911 sets, 19,022 sets, 15,286 sets, 10,859 sets, 10,805 sets, 10,303 sets, 10,167 sets, accounting for 15.98%, 14.47%, 11.55%, 8.33%, 7.95%, 6.39%, 4.54%, 4.52%, 4.31%, and 4.25%. They produced a total of 196, 797 diesel engines, accounting for 82.29%.
From the sales of diesel engines in October, top ten enterprises are Yuchai, Quanchai, FAW, Weichai, Yunnei Power, JMC, Foton, Huayuan Laidong, Dongfeng and Yangchai, which sold 42,257 sets, 36,927 sets, 30,410 sets, 19,456 sets, 18,235 sets, 15,846 sets, 11,398 sets, 11,363 sets, 10,683 sets and 10,463 sets, accounting for 16.61%, 14.52%, 11.95%, 7.65%, 7.17%, 6.23%, 4.48%, 4.47%, 4.20% and 4.11%. They sold a total of 207,038 sets, accounting for 81.38%.
