www.chinabuses.org: On October 16th, Dongfeng Xiangyang Touring Vehicle Company affiliated to Dongfeng Motor Corporation delivered 20 pure-electric city buses to Xiangyang Public Transport Company. There are 53 pure-electric city buses used in the city nowadays.

It's said that 80% of spare parts were produced in Xiangyang, making the pure-electric buses stable, fast, zero-vibration, zero-pollution and zero-noise, etc. The new model is able to run 180-220km per charging.

In 2012, the company has obtained the order of over 400 Dongfeng pure-electric city buses. 30 more buses will be delivered to the Public Transport Company in late 2013.
