Cummins Engines Accompany King Long Buses in European Market

www.chinabuses.org: On the opening day of 2012 IAA, China's leading bus manufacturer King Long released three models equipped with Cummins Euro V engines for European market, attracting over 200 attendees from European and Chinese media. These models were 8m three-door low-floor city bus XMQ6800AGD with Cummins ISB6.7 engine, 10m tourist bus XMQ6996 with Cummins ISB6.7 engine and 13m coach XMQ6130C with Cummins ISL8.9 engine.
Europe, worldwide most developed region for bus industry, has the strictest standard for vehicle production and use, especially the emission standard. Cummins always takes the lead in launching the products with the strictest emission standard. King Long buses with Cummins Euro V engines are ubiquitous in European market.
For example, in UK, over 100 King Long buses served London Olympic Games. Especially, 10 King Long buses equipped with Cummins Euro IV and Euro V engines were appointed by SAMSUNG to transport Organizing Committee officials, athletes and referees, etc.
