Retarder Manufacturers Get Discouraged

www.chinabuses.org: From September 1st, new motor vehicle operation safety technical specifications GB7258-2012 (short for new national standard) was implemented nationwide, in which over-9-meter and over-12-ton vans, special vehicles and dangerous goods transport vehicles must be equipped with retarders or other braking assistant devices.
The news inspired many domestic retarder manufacturers. General Manager of TERCA Huang, Bin told the reporter that he expected for the new national standard for a long time. Starting late in domestic market, retarder products have been accepted by some terminal customers in China. The company will focus on heavy-duty truck retarder in the future.
After two weeks of the implementation of new national standard, some domestic retarder manufacturers no more orders than before. It's said the fast development will occur in 2014.
