Rudi Von Meister heads school bus operations in China

Rudi Von Meister has lead the company’s efforts in the joint venture agreements with Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co. Ltd. (JAC).

When Rudi Von Meister was interviewed and asked what was the biggest trouble that the Navistar enters China school bus industry , he said that the biggest trouble was who to be the right operator in the China school bus. As Navistar is the new comer in the China school bus industry, it was very important to choose the present cooperator to achieve the win-win outcome in the future.

When asking about how to regulate the school buses' safety standards and performance, Rudi Von Meister said in USA, it not only provide professional school buses, but also provide the safety environment for the school bus driving. So when the school bus light its special color light, the surrounding vehicles would stop to make sure to provide the safety environment for the school buses. So, in order to make sure the safety of the school buses, there were not only one aspect such as the professional school buses, but also other aspects such as the drivers' safety driving concept and the training of the drivers etc to unit together to make the school bus be safety.
