www.chinabuses.org: On September 4th, the construction of Ankai new-energy vehicle base started in Hefei City. It's said that new-energy bus production lines, key powertrain and R&D center will be built in the new base.

"With total investment of CNY 1.5 billion, the new base covers 374 mu (about 0.25 million m2), including 20,000 m2 of technical R&D center." the responsible person said. The new project marked the rapid development of new-energy vehicle industry in Anhui Province.

After the completion, annual productivity is expected to be six thousand new-energy buses, 12 thousand key powertrain of buses and 150 thousand powertrain of new-energy vehicles, with output value of CNY 8.1 billion, making the most important new-energy vehicle production base and R&D center.
