Chinese Biggest NEV Base to be Founded in Jiangsu

www.chinabuses.org: On August 21st  2012,  Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province held the ceremony of starting the annual 20,000 units of new energy buses production project by Jiangsu Alfa Bus Co., Ltd. It will be Chinese biggest new energy buses production base. The total investment funds is 5 billion Yuan and the total area cover 1000 mu. It is estimated that the annual revenue could be 18 million Yuan.

The first institute for new-energy vehicles of Jiangsu Province “BUAA-Jiangyin Institute for New-energy Vehicles” was founded in Jiangyin on September 9th 2011, which would be important for the development of new-energy vehicles of China. In October 2011,the Ministry of Science and Technology has announced the notice about the national program of science and technology and national key programs in 2011. YS6120D, the electric coaches developed by Jiangsu Alfa Bus Co.,Ltd (Alfa Bus for short) , based on new technologies has been approved as the national key new products in 2011, which is also the first auto project involved into such state-level program in Jiangsu Province.


Since starting the development of electric buses in 2002, Alfa Bus always is dedicated in the technology breakthrough of the core technologies for such model. Even in last summer, Alfa electric buses still work normally in the extreme high temperature in Shanghai (about 40 degree) and run 14 hours one day.
