www.chinabuses.org: On June 29th 2012, NAVECO Ltd. (Nanjing Iveco) held a new commercial vehicle product exhibition in Changsha, Hunan Province. In the show,it exhibited two types of NAVECO commercial vehicles, which were Power Daily A42 and Power Daily A42L. These two types are in the same feature as other types of NAVECO commercial vehicles with European short head modeling.

Since 2006, NAVECO Ltd. has cooperated with ands in hands with SAIC. In 2006, the sales volume of the NAVECO' commercial vehicles were nearly 20,000 units, and in 2011, it sold 143,000 units. Even though in 2011, for the commercial vehicle market, the overall sales was not so good, but the sales volume of NAVECO' small buses was 39,000 units with 21.88 percent of year-on-year growth.

Founded on March 1, 1996, NAVECO Ltd. is a 50:50 joint venture owned by Nanjing Automobile (Group) Corp and IVECO S. p. A., a subsidiary of Italy-based Fiat Group. With a registered capital of RMB 2.527 billion, NAVECO currently owns 7000 registered employees and covers a land area of 1.25 million square meter.

IVECO passenger bus originates from European nobility style. Since it was introduced in 1980s, it defined short-headed light bus in Chinese market. New IVECO “Power Daily” bus launch in 2004 rewrote the history of high-grade light bus. The “Power Daily” range designed by 3 top Italian automobile design companies has been the pilot in domestic light bus market. IVECO passenger buses can be divided into two series: Power Daily and Turbo Daily.
