Youngman Launches JNP6122UC EV electric bus

www.chinabuses.org: The Youngman JNP6122UC EV electric bus could already be seen at the China International Green Innovative Products & Technologies Show in Guangzhou which was held at the end of last year in Guangzhou City. But now it is ready for production, and the vehicle was formally launched.

The Youngman JNP6122UC EV is a plug in electric bus fitted with ultracapacitor as its energy storing device. It takes only 5-10 minutes to complete the charge procedure. After it is recharged, it has an action radius of about 15 km. The ultracapacitor can be charged and discharged for more than 100,000 times. With an average day’s run of some 200 km running, it will be charged and recharged about 6,800 times per year, giving the ultracapacitors a lifetime of some 14 years, according to Youngman. Which she claims is longer than the service life of lithium ion batteries.
