Foton BJ6123 Battery electric bus comes into the market

www.chinabuses.org: On May 17 2012, the third China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks & Components ( Bus & Truck 2012 ) was held in China National Convention Center in Beijing. The Vice President of ZF Commercial Vehicle Business Department--Dai Zhangyu, the Sales Director of ZF Commercial Vehicle Axle Business Department--Frank Burkhart and the General Manager of Foton AUV--Liu Guoqiang attended in the show and unveiled the BJ6123 Battery pure electric bus.
Wang Jian, Mr. China Buses spoke highly of the Foton new electric bus, "In the history of domestic electric buses, this BJ6123 Battery electric bus has a milestone significance."

Base on the strong R&D ability of Foton Motor, this battery electric city bus comes out with "zero emissions". The special body design uses some East characterizes and represents the Chinese culture. And this new energy city bus gives a new solution to green city transportation and greatly benefits our environment.
This city bus has excellent accessibility because of its super low flow and three doors. The low floor design makes for easier access, shorter loading and debarking times for customers and operators. Besides, both the operators and passengers can travel in comfort thanks to the separated zone for driver and the ergonomics standard seats.
According to Liu Guoqiang said, at the end of this year, the production of the BJ6123 Battery electric bus will reach about 200 units. This electric bus product will be in mass production.
