www.chinabuses.org: On the morning of April 26, Mr. Wang Yang, the Member of Political Bureau of Communist Party and Secretary of Guangdong Province visited Guangdong Wuzhoulong Power Technology Co., Ltd ( one branch of Wuzhoulong Group, located in Jiexi, one town of Guangdong province and also the hometown of Mr. Zhang jingxin, Chairman of the Group) and listened to the detailed report from Chairman Zhang on its new energy auto industry development.

Mr. Wang spoke highly of Wuzhoulong's great efforts and achievement on new energy technology, in the meanwhile, he praised Mr. Zhang's investment in Chongqing, Shengyang and his hometown Jiexi which bring great devotion to not only national new energy industry development but to his hometown's economy.

During Secretary Wang's visiting, he especially saw the latest pure electric bus and asked many questions on its performance, especially on the battery. Chairman Zhang gave detailed introduction; this bus adopts up-to-date technology and now has been chosen by Qingdao public transportation for their Green Bus Operation demonstration after their prudent comparison among several pure electric bus factories and strictly checking its performance; besides, the battery in this bus is produced by Wuzhoulong Power Technology Co., Ltd. 

Among several bus models on site, "Big Nose" pure electric school bus drawed Secretary Wang's attention. He moved to the bus and emphasized the importance of students’ safety with a safety hammer in his hand. It is the first pure electric school bus in China and is to be promoted in Shenzhen in the near future. As per Mr.Zhang's introduction, the buses on site were driven from Shenzhen, 300 km far away to Jiexi. During the trip, there is not any failure and charging, but the fact proves that there is still half of power left, which can not be surpassed by other corrival in Chinese market.

Secretary Wang especially cared about the core of new energy auto industry, so he exchanged opinion on batter density, lightweighting, and marketization with Mr. Zeng, General Manager of Wuzhoulong Power Technology Company. It is reported that Wuzhoulong battery plant is the first high-tech production line to produce battery with environmental protection method, which realizes the transition of battery environment from application to production.

Besides, with the application of advanced equipment and high-level production technics, recycling age of the battery has been prolonged to the largest degree to solve the life time of the battery, common worry in battery industry to all end users, that is why Wuzhoulong can dare to make a promise of 8-year warranty for their battery. As per their long-term plan, Wuzhoulong is going to extend their battery business to high-performance battery used in storage battery, aviation, aerospace, navigation, communication and so on, to be a competitive energy industry base.

This is the first time for Secretary Wang to visit Wuzhoulong new energy bus after his visiting in 3 years and it will give Wuzhoulong Group's more confidence and encourage them to devote more develop its new energy bus.
