www.chinabuses.org: On April 27th, the fast charging power station special for the practical electric bus was built in the Chongqing Province, which is the first fast charging power station in China. At the same day, 31 units of Hengtong fast charging pure electric buses were put into production. The operation of the fast charging power station on May 1st marks the new energy era of the bus transport system.

The Power Company says, by 2015, the company will build 30 power stations for the electric vehicle and 1000 sets of filling piles to meet 2,000 units of electric buses & 30,000 units of electric cars' charging demands. In the next two years, Chongqing Bus Group plans to put 500 units of buses into charging. By 2014, the actual operation of the new energy buses driving into in Chongqing amount to 1,000 units.
