Commercial Vehicle Sales in China Weaken in March

www.chinabuses.org: Commercial vehicles' production in March declined 4.32 percent from the same month last year to 424,800 units and rose 22.35 percent higher from February's, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said Wednesday. The sales in March declined 23.92 percent from a year earlier to 438,600 units, and rose 23.92 percent higher from February's.


Sales of commercial vehicles shrank in the first quarter as slowing economic growth chipped away at demand, adding to concerning about the full-year sales outlook in the world's largest auto market. In the first quarter, total vehicle production in China fell 11.40% from a year earlier to 1.0131 million vehicles, the sales of it fell 10.60% to 1.019 million vehicles in the first quarter.


For March, the complete built buses' production & sales were respectively 37,400 units & 36,900 units, which respectively rose 30.12% & 31.92% higher from February' s and also rose 12.39% & 8.81% higher from the same month last year. And the completely knocked down buses' production & sales in March, both were 7,000 units, which respectively rose 42.32% & 39.94% higher from February' s and also rose 0.06% & 2.09% higher from the same month last year.
