Qingdao Transportation Group Plans to Put 5000 School Buses into Use within Four Years

www.chinabuses.org：On March 27th, 2012, NPC member and General Manager of Qingdao Transportation Group LIU, Yongkang told the reporter in the interview that Qingdao Transportation Group would use 600-800 school buses in Jimo, Jiaozhou and Chengyang etc and make 5000 school buses served within 4 years.
During the NPC and CPPCC in Qingdao, he also proposed the legislation of school buses, including government protection procedure, operation entity, training standards of drivers and access priority of school buses etc.
Speaking of the 600-800 school buses, he said the first 180 units would be in position in mid-April and another 180 units in late May. Before late August, all the school buses would be put into use, mainly in Pingdu, Laixi, Yangcheng, Jiaozhou, Jiaonan etc.
