American Blue Bird attends China school bus exhibition

www.chinabuses.org: 2012 1st China International School Bus Development Forum and Exhibition is being held during February 15-18, 2012 in National Conference Center, which attracts not only China famous bus builders,such as King Long, Yutong, but also the world earliest school bus manufacturer American Blue-Bird Inc. to bring its "Big Nose" school bus to attend the show.
As one of the foreign school bus builder, Blue Bird locates in the center position of the exhibition which attracts the industry peers, the intended buyers, the media and the visitors to come to visit. The high intensity steel plate chassis of Blue Bird is not so low near to the floor so as to avoid the scratch from the road obstacle. The enough wide inner room and 3+3 seats in both sides show the reasonable design. The length of the school bus is 12.7 meter which can load more than 70 students. According to the staff of the Blue Bird, the price of the showing school bus in American is about $70,000.
Blue Bird is now the second biggest school bus manufacturer in American which accounts for 30% of the market share. In 2011, the year-on-year growth rate is 4% and now it is mainly covering the 6 meter -14 meter school buses. And now the currently rapidly popular school buses market in China attract Blue Bird to join in it.
According to the interview the CEO of Blue Bird by chinabuses.org, he said, " We will not take our hard copy product into China market,but prefer to use our technical advantage to keep better competitiveness. We are now contacted with the China domestic bus manufacturer and hope by joint venture, to combined the high efficiency and low cost advantage of Chinese bus manufacturers with the safety and quality reliable technology performance of Blue Bird to develope suitable China market products."
