www.chinabuses.org: China’s first trans-provincial highway EV charging infrastructure was completed and ready in service after examination in late November.

The inter-city EV infrastructure project involves five highway service areas and nine intelligent charging and battery-swapping stations, which can free electric vehicles from the range anxiety when they travel in between Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou.

The project is constructed by the State Grid and it will further foster EV development in the three cities which are all involved in the country’s new energy vehicle pilot program.
