08 December 2011

www.chinabuses.org:At the 2011 BusCon show held in Chicago’s Navy Pier, the Chinese BCI coach was launched on the North-American market. Other better – re-launches, since a couple of years ago an earlier attempt was made to get foothold on this market.

The BCI booth drew much interest and lots of excitement from show attendees. On display was the 2012 Explorer 45 featuring a Cummins ISX 2010 EPA engine and a Allison B500 transmission.  Included in this model was an integrated Carrier airco system (first ever to be built in China), ZF axles and suspensions as well as a Parker Multiplexing system.  BCI continued to feature its signature designs by installing a wheel chair lift above the tag axle and flip up fenders for easy access to the wheel wells.
