China Buses are Becoming Competitive in European Market

www.chinabuses.org：Biennial BUSWORLD was held in Kortrijk Belgium on October 20th, 2011, attracting over 70 bus manufacturers and 280 spare parts suppliers all over the world, including many China bus manufacturers. In the exhibition, BYD showed its electric buses, Golden Dragon launched new hybrid buses and Yutong won Bus Builder of the Year at the opening ceremony, which all revealed the ambitions of China bus manufacturers.
According to WVTA and local market characters, Kinglong launched two buses with most advanced technologies and materials for better operation and more comfortable experience.
Most of China bus manufacturers attended the exhibition for the first time. General Manager of Overseas Marketing Department of Kinglong Company XIE, Weiguo thought that China bus manufacturers were just trying in European market. It would take a long way for China bus manufacturers to enter European market, for European standards were quite strict: technical standard, safety standard and workmanship standard. However, due to economic recession, European would want the products they might afford and products of China were competitive in price. Founder of BUSWORLD Luc said that China buses were taking more shares of the market and European enterprises were under pressure.
