The Most Powerful American Type School Bus Appears in Chongqi City

www.chinabuses.org: After the school bus accident happened in Gansu, an online picture of the most powerful school bus bumped against with a hummer (U.S. military trucks) was widely spread and became popluar, as the hummer was damaged but the tail of the school bus was a little crushed in. It is learned that there are 4 units of such the most powerful school bus in Chongqi City and Zhengzhou City which were introduced by in a Sino-foreign joint venture enterprise from United States and has been on service for 8 years.

This most powerful school bus’s orange body is very conspicuous; especially the head is prominent with a shape of "big nose". Due to its steel body, truck chassis and without burnable things in it, the greatest characteristic of "big nose" is safe. When driving at the speed of 80 yards on the wet road, it doesn’t slide even if taking the emergency brake. Besides, when there apprears 7-8 levels of gales, the school bus driving at high way will not feel float up. The engine design of American style school bus is put in its head which is mainly to protect the body of the bus from lower the effect of impacting to ensure the safety of the bus.
The big nose school buses
On the top of the before and after bus windshield all have two red and two yellow warning lights. It can be seen these lights from the two kilometers away that shows it penetrates strongly. In addition, the rearview mirrors in this big nose bus are also much more than the normal school buses. Besides, the rearview mirrors also are installed to see the blind area, so that the driver sees each part of the surrounding such as whether all the children are in the bus.
In the left side of the body, there is also a "STOP" warning signs. When people get off the bus, the driver will open up the STOP sign at the same time. Then the passing vehicles and pedestrians can see it obviously. And in both sides and the rear of the bus, there are yellow reflective sticks so in the evening, when the light from other car shines directly in the bus, the drivers in other cars can see the big nose bus and keep distance from it.
