Yangzhou Yaxing Company to Develop "Super-long School Bus"

www.chinabuses.org：School bus accident in Gansu raised concerns of the whole society. In 2009 the government formulated the national standards of primary school bus. As one of the earliest participants, Yaxing Bus Company is developing 7-11 meters school buses on the basis of current two kinds which are 6-meter and 6.6-meter long with seat capacity of 32 persons and 37 persons respectively.
"Safety is the priority of school buses." HU, Jun said, Yaxing school buses were equipped with strong chassis and cage-shaped frame which would protect passengers from impact force when hit. Besides, the windows were tailer-made in case the students put their hands or heads out of the windows and all the seats had seat belts.
As the development of school buses, the number will increase to 20 thousand in 2015 from 2000 in 2010.
