Foton has been preparing for overseas expansion since the release of 2020 Strategy: setting up Indian plant; founding joint venture with Daimler Group; establishing innovation center; setting up many new plants for new-energy buses, multi-functional vehicles and special vehicles etc.

“Foton is most likely to realize globalization among China enterprises.” Deputy General Manager of Foton Company and General Manager of Overseas Marketing Department WANG, Xiangyin showed his resolve and Foton was confident to export China high-end pickups to overseas market

As WANG, Xiangyin plans, in 2020 Foton will sell 1.5 million units, accounting for 38% of total sales and it will become an international company, ranking top 10 in the world.
