Cummins Makes the globally Second Large R&D Center in Wuhan

www.chinabuses.org: On 18th October 2011, the project of(Phase Two)of Research and Development Center of Cummins in East Asian has settled in the Development Zone in Wuhan, and this is the second global R&D institution of Cummins second to the one in America over the world.
Research and Development Center of Cummins in East Asian settled in Wuhan in 2006. Phase Two refers to the total investment of $33 million USD, the research and the development of the engine product with the range of 2.8 liters to 19 liters, related to automobiles, engineering machinery, and generator sets. Within this year, this center will own 22 testing platforms for engines, available for the testing of products, according to the various emission standards in Europe, South Korea, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Australia and Brazil. It is known that the development capability of heavy automobiles, cars, electric vehicles, buses and parts have been formed in Wuhan.
