Foton AUV Buses Serve the First Tour of Beijing

www.chinabuses.org: On October 5th-9th, 2011, the first Tour of Beijing was held in Beijing. As the only level-one sponsor, Foton offered 5 units of AUV buses to serve the match.
Tour of Beijing, the same level as Tour of France, was the only match of UCI World Tour in Asia, attracting top 19 pro cycling teams. Tour of Beijing was the world-top cycling match and the safety was the priority of organization committee.
Foton AUV Bus
AUV buses were chosen by organization committee due to the high safety performance and designated to serve 2011 Tour of Beijing. It was known that five units of AUV buses served the match, including BJ6850, BJ6115, BJ6125 and BJ6103, four units of which were monocoque buses.
These buses were new-made, four luxury buses of which were in monocoque body structure, out of high-intensity materials, 30% stronger and 5-10% lighter, meeting the requirements of ECE R66.
