ZF Transmission Wins “Best Spare Parts Award”

www.chinabuses.org: AS Tronic Lite 6-gear automatic transmission of ZF Company won “Best Spare Parts Award” of “China Road Transport Cup” hosted by Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China.
ZF AS Tronic Lite is more suitable for China city buses and inter-city buses than traditional manual transmission, which is proved by winning the award for it is easier to operate and the cost is much lower.
President of Bus Transmission Technology Department of ZF Commercial Vehicle Department Wolfgang Schilha said: “We are excited to win the award and it turns out that replacing manual transmission for automatic transmission is a right decision, for it is more comfortable to operate AS Tronic Lite than traditional manual transmission.”
There are two types of AS Tronic Lite on sale in China. 6AS710 BO is suitable for the buses of 6-12 tons weight, 6-9 meters long and max torque 700Nm; 6AS1010 BO is suitable for the buses of 9-18 tons weight, 9-12 meters long and max torque 1050Nm. The two types can be used in medium, small and mini buses.
