SAIC MAXUS V80 Commercial Vehicles Become Designated Vehicles of GMS Leaders Meeting

www.chinabuses.org: 10 MAXUS V80 commercial vehicles made in Wuxi Factory of Shanghai Commercial Vehicles Company were exported to Burma on October 12th, becoming the only designated vehicles of Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) Leaders Meeting in 2011.
GMS Leaders Meeting started in 2002, mainly about the cooperation in communications, energy, telecommunications, environment, investment, trade and tourism among Cambodia, China, Laos, Burma, Thailand and Vietnam. The meeting of this year will be held in Naypyitaw of Burma in December.
SAIC Group is the biggest listed company of automobile in A share market. Commercial vehicles were manufactured in Wuxi factory in May and the first MAXUS V80 vehicles were completed in June. SAIC Group purchased the famous European brand MAXUS in 2009 and set up a new benchmark of commercial MPV in China.
The 10 V80 commercial vehicles confirmed by Ministry of Commerce are 15-seat VIP types, the high-end reception vehicles.
