www.chinabuses.org: Board member of Continental AG-Europe’s second-largest parts supplier Heinz-Gerhard Wente said Continental AG would focus on Asian market in the coming market.

Wente said in an interview that European market was still the biggest market of the Group but economic downturn due to European debt crisis might bring about negative influence. He said the Group would focus on Asian market, especially India and China, for a greater increase of sales in Asian market. However, no detailed investment plan was revealed. Sales in Asian market account for 21% of the total and Continental AG gained relatively high profits in the latest 3 years thanks to the revival of global auto industry.
