Ankai Bus Signs the first Order for London Olympic Games

www.chinabuses.org: On 29th September 2011, Wang Xianfeng, deputy general manager of Anhui Ankai Automobile Co., Ltd. and G.M. of its international company signed the agreement with Gerry Price, technical director of BIG BUS, double-deck bus operator in Britain. The former party will offer 34 units double-deck sightseeing buses, which will serve 2012 Olympic Games in London.
All staffs value this order and have produced the first prototype bus with the highest standard and the advanced technology. This prototype bus has been confirmed by the related Britain certificate authority and the customer, also, obtained the certificates such as Whole Vehicle Type Approval, VCA and VOSA. Mr. Wang mentioned that, “This cooperation shows that the technical level of our products have totally complied with EU requirements, meanwhile, this is the first time for China electromechanical products with the access into the core market in EU.
In recent years, Ankai Bus has made outstanding achievements, in particular, in overseas markets, e.g. the first batches of buses exporting to America in 2010, 3000 school buses to Saudi Arabia and 280 units to Russia. As for the developed markets in Europe and America, Ankai Bus has got Whole Vehicle Type Approval (EU) for two models, also various certificates in overseas regions and countries, including American DOT, Australian ADR, Russian GOST and GCC for the Gulf States. In this August, Ankai Bus has been authorized as national 3A credit certificate for exporting, striving for the world-known bus builder.
