Higer Buses Outfitted with Automatic Fire Extinguishers

www.chinabuses.org: From 21st to 23rd September 2011, 2011 China (Wuhan) International Transportation Technology Expo was held in Wuhan and Higer Bus Company Limited (Higer Bus for short) has launched its new models: KLQ6122DA, KLQ6122B1 and KLQ6109GQHEV5 hybrid power city bus on the exhibition. Also, this builder won two awards of “China Best Bus Builder” and “China Best Intelligence Innovation”, the highest honor of this expo.

It is known that these buses are outfitted with automatic fire extinguishing equipments, which also can be operated manually by drivers. The 12-meter coaches on the display are equipped with four extinguishers in the luggage cabin, starting in the temperature up 170 degree or open fire. It is the first bus builder applying automatic fire extinguishing equipments on buses and coaches in China.
On 21st September 2011, Higer Bus has formally signed strategic cooperation agreement with National Express Group in Wuhan. Both parties will comprehensively cooperate in the respects of purchasing of new buses, application of G-BOS operation systems and building of the platform of security technology.
The first eight months of this year, Higer Bus has sold 14518 units buses and coaches (year-on-year growth of 12.8%), sales revenue of 5.225 billion Yuan (y/y growth of 17.2%) in the background of national tighten monetary policy.
