Compared with traditional diesel bus, hybrid bus can save 20%-30% of energy without emission and pollution. By 2012, 118 thousand tons of oil can be saved and 147 thousand tons of CO2 emission can be reduced by the application of new-energy vehicles in Shenzhen.
