www.chinabuses.org: The first institute for new-energy vehicles of Jiangsu Province “BUAA-Jiangyin Institute for New-energy Vehicles” was founded in Jiangyin on September 9th, which would be important for the development of new-energy vehicles of China.
This institute is founded jointly by Jiangyin Alfa Bus Company and BUAA. As the first pure-electric vehicle manufacturer, Alfa operates over 80 units of pure-electric buses in Jiangyin, Shanghai and Jinan etc, besides it obtained an order of 100 pure-electric buses from Grosseto Province of Italy. Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics is a famous university with powerful research strength. The cooperation of both sides in new-energy technology will make Jiangyin pure-electric bus the leader in key component technology and powertrain control technology. Furthermore, high-end products of Alfa pure-electric buses values RMB 250 million Yuan this year.
