CSR Times Wins Golden Prize for EREV City Bus

www.chinabuses.org: On 9th September 2011, the award ceremony of the second CENS Cup China (Kunming) New Energy City Bus Competition was grandly held and Hunan CSR Times Electric Vehicle Co., LTD. (CSR Times for short) won the golden prize with TEG6129PEV EREV (extended range electric vehicle) city bus.
Li Shihao, director-general of Science and Technology Division of China Urban Transportation Association, host party of this competition introduced that, “The fuel consumption of this model is 15.88L per one hundred kilometers and the power consumption is 1kwh per one hundred kilometers, far less than the average of 24.46L and 1.41kwh of EREV.”

According to Li Shihao, this competition was held in Kunming from 20th to 22nd July 2011, themed by “Green Trip, Creative Drive and More Share”, and there have been over 20 China bus builders with 25 models attending this competition.
