King Long Bus Sponsors the Journey around Taiwan by Bike

www.chinabuses.org: Fang Weidong, the cyclelist who rode bike around Taiwan from 12th to 24th August 2011, covering the range of 1123 kilometers and he is the first person with such action from Mainland China. Fang’s journey around Taiwan is exclusively sponsored by Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. (King Long Bus for short). Xu Xiangdong, deputy general manger of King Long Bus showed that it was also the journey of King Long Bus around Taiwan, promoting the brand spirit of healthy life and low-carbon trip.

As the exclusive sponsor, King Long Bus offered the support of the equipments and related fees and Fang showed the logo of King Long Bus on his clothes and bicycle during the journey. The theme for such journey in Taiwan is “low-carbon journey” with the slogan of “Low-carbon, action in journey” and finally they made it.
James Roo (Luo Jian), supervisor of Brand Management Center of King Long Bus said in the interview “This activity is creative and meaningful; actually such brave courage and low-carbon spirit comply with the corporate spirit of King Long Bus. On the other hand, Taiwan is the place where Sanyang Industry is located, which is one of the shareholders of the company, also one important market. Therefore, such sponsorship is capable of contribution to both the improving of the brand image and increasing popularity in Taiwan.”
