Dongying Bus Company was satisfied with the low gas consumption of Zhongtong bus. 10-meter Zhongtong LGN bus used as No.118 bus was purchased in 2009 with max gas consumption of 26.3 cubic meters per 100km, much less than that of other brand. Besides, in Tianjin, Haikou, Guangzhou, Jinan, Weifang, Laiwu and Zibo, Zhongtong LNG buses did well in energy-saving, especially in Weifang with a record of average gas consumption of 24 cubic meters per 100km.

Due to profound technology accumulation, Zhongtong mastered the core technology of low gas consumption after many years research and held many patents, developing a series of CNG, LNG and hybrid buses. Zhongtong adopted well selected engine with “frequency conversion and temperature control technology” and “5s energy smart technology” for energy-saving to the most extent.

Zhongtong bus body frame was strong for it was made of the best section steel with the most advanced welding technology. Furthermore, Zhongtong was splendid in corrosion prevention that it promised the body frame could stay stainless for 10 years, which was essential for coastal city.

At present, the 50 LNG buses were operated in No.103, No.117, No.9 and No.18 bus routes, which would be made green transportation demonstration routes to promote the low-carbon and ecologization of Dongying.
